I AM A Multi-faceted graphic designer with an eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and a genuine passion for design.Hello, my name is Natalia Belov. I'm originally from Moscow, Russia, and have lived in Israel, Canada, and Houston, Texas while growing up. After completing a degree in Psychology in 2010, I decided to pursue a lifelong passion for art by enrolling at the Art Institute of Indianapolis in July of 2012. Throughout my education and my experience working as a graphic designer, I have taken on a variety of projects spanning multiple facets of design, and have applied my passion, dedication, and genuine love for design to every one.
My passion for graphic design has driven me to want to learn as much as possible about the field, and to continuously grow as a designer. Because of this inner drive, I put the highest degree of effort into every project I undertake. I am simply not satisfied with what I feel is sub-par work. I want my work to not only be effective in accomplishing its intended goal, but to also be powerful and aesthetically pleasing. I am proficient in a multitude of relevant software applications and am constantly striving to learn new skills. Though I feel I have a distinct, somewhat minimalistic style, I am also a multi-faceted designer, having had the opportunity to work on a large variety of projects, designing aspects from concept to completion, working with a range of aesthetics, and always keeping the message and the target market in mind. Leonardo da Vinci once said, “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”, and I strive to accomplish this goal in my work. However, I also believe that when it comes to design, beauty is also in the details, and my attention to these details and heartfelt commitment to quality has been a driving force for me throughout my academic and professional journey as a designer. I also understand that passion is only part of the equation, and sincerely believe that design, much like any other discipline, is a learning process; one that involves constant growth. This is what excites me about design - the opportunities are endless. When it comes to design, I live by a personal motto: “strive for the best, but never stop growing”. |
